Moxie Fab World is sponsoring several challenges this month in celebration of the release of
350 Cards & Gifts magazine. This challenge is all about making sets of cards to give away...
The Card Sets Challenge. I made 5 pinwheel-themed cards in recognition of
National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April). As part of the child abuse prevention campaign, the program I work for takes part in Our Kids: Our Business, which is
is a call to action for a region that supports a successful childhood at every stage of development (http://ourkidsspokane.org/). "The pinwheel symbolizes the innocence of childhood and reminds us that the adults in the community bear responsibility for ensuring that each and every child is safe and healthy. Our kids are our business!" In my town (Spokane, WA) you can see waves of pinwheels "planted" on the grounds of schools, hospitals, childcare centers, etc. to bring acknowledgement to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. So, in response to this, my cards have pinwheels on them. I haven't quite decided yet about who to give these to, but it'll come to me soon!

I love the idea of pinwheels for awareness...I'd never heard of this, but I think it's fantastic! And your cards are lovely :)
